The most awaited day – Junior Annual Sports Day - 'Masti Ki Pathshala' was a day full of exuberance, high spirits and competitiveness for the students of Grade Pre Nursery to Grade 2 as they participated in varied events on 13th of January 2018. The principal of DPS Nashik Mrs. Chitra Joshi felicitated the Chief Guest Dr. Sharmila Kulkarni a well known Pediatrician and an owner of Sanjeevan Hospital, Gangapur road, Nashik. With great enthusiasm and spirit of sportsmanship, the students left no stone unturned to give their best performance. Students cheered their buddies in different events and races. As the cheers and motivational chants echoed within the campus, the invaluable message on the importance of participation reverberated in the heart of every child. The overall event was managed and coordinated by the Jr. Section Headmistresses Mrs. Amrapali Dutta and Ms. Ranjana Kori. All in all it was a splendid and memorable day!

To make learning more innovative grade 2 students of Delhi Public School, Nashik were given the chance to play cricket on the fields. Boys and girls played and understood the rules of cricket and could relate it to the lesson in their Hindi curriculum. Students were divided into two groups one for fielding and other for batting. It was ensured that all the children could do batting and bowling as well. Mr. Khan the Edusports Coach helped setting up the field and making children play the game in very disciplined and effective way. Children played the game with a complete enthusiasm and learnt the lesson in a cheerful way.
Terrific Rally by our Table Tennis Champions DPS, Nashik's Anjika Badak (VIII), Simaran Kaur (VII) and Anushka Dasgupta (VIII) demonstrated their mettle in the D.S.O. Table Tennis Division Level Tournament, organised at Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jilha Krida Sankul, Jalgaon. Super Swimmer of Delhi Public School Nashik The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) organized an Inter school sports and games competition. The competition was held at Delhi Public School, Ranchi from 22 November 2018 to 26 November 2018. Master Krishna Gadakh a salient swimmer of Delhi Public school of Grade 9 participated in the competition where he excelled his performance by securing 3rd position in 1500 mtr freestyle and 3rd position in 400 mtr freestyle and 1st position in 200 mtr butterfly. This is a proud moment for the entire fraternity of Delhi Public School, Nashik. The principal Dr. Pushpy Dutt congratulated the champion and wished him success for his future endeavors.
