The most awaited day – Junior Annual Sports Day - 'Masti Ki Pathshala' was a day full of exuberance, high spirits and competitiveness for the students of Grade Pre Nursery to Grade 2 as they participated in varied events on 13th of January 2018. The principal of DPS Nashik Mrs. Chitra Joshi felicitated the Chief Guest Dr. Sharmila Kulkarni a well known Pediatrician and an owner of Sanjeevan Hospital, Gangapur road, Nashik. With great enthusiasm and spirit of sportsmanship, the students left no stone unturned to give their best performance. Students cheered their buddies in different events and races. As the cheers and motivational chants echoed within the campus, the invaluable message on the importance of participation reverberated in the heart of every child. The overall event was managed and coordinated by the Jr. Section Headmistresses Mrs. Amrapali Dutta and Ms. Ranjana Kori. All in all it was a splendid and memorable day!
Field Visit to Air Force Station, Borgad On 26th September 2018, the students of Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Prep of Delhi Public School, Nashik were taken for a field visit to an Air Force Station in Borgad. The objective of this activity was to give the kids an opportunity to explore the different venues at the Airforce Station. It was also organised to make them understand that the Airforce aims to fly, fight and win in Air, Space and Cyberspace. It was explained to the children that the Airforce has aeroplanes to protect the nation. The field visit to the Air Force Station, Borgad motivated the students to explore the venue and learn new things. Safety measures and precautions were explained to the students using placards and signboards and questions put forth the same. The students progressively created explanations and answers for each question which was asked to them. Refreshments were served and projection images of the missiles were shown on the LCD to the students. Students of Delhi Public School shine yet again Delhi Public School is always known to have encouraged its students for an all round development. One such occasion was when sixteen students participated in the Auditions, preliminary round, on the 24th of November, 2018 conducted by Scribido Talks. Out of these, nine students were selected for the final round. The finalists attended a two day workshop where they learnt the tacts of good presentation. The presentation of the students were recorded by Scribido Talks and uploaded on the YouTube. After online voting, winners declared for the same from Delhi Public School Nashik are as follows : Miss Yashi Gupta was declared as winner of Popular Choice Award in the Senior category. Mast Hriday Ruperal was declared the winner of the Critics Choice Award in the Senior category. Miss Srita Rao from the Super Senior category was declared the winner of Critics Choice Award. This is a proud moment for Delhi Public School, Nashik. Hearty congratulations to the students. It has been a wonderful learning experience for the students. Events like this are a constant source of motivation for the students and go a long way in shaping their personality and exposure to the outside world.
VALEDICTORY CEREMONY AT DPS NASHIK A Valedictory function for Grade 12 students was organised on 21st February 2019 at Delhi Public School, Nashik. The function was graced by the Chief Guest, Dr. Kalidas Chavan, Registrar, MUHS. The Chief Guest was welcomed by the Director, Mr. Siddharth Rajgarhia and the Principal, Dr. Pushpy Dutt. The function commenced by invocation of the almighty this was followed by a motivational song by the choir group of the school. Next, titles were bestowed on the students. A brief pen-picture was read about each one. The Chief Guest, Dr. Kalidas Chavan addressed the students. He talked about the importance of knowledge, skills and values in their lives and motivated them to do well in their Board Exams. The Principal, Dr. Pushpy Dutt, addressed the students where she emphasised that we need to prepare the students for the roads and not prepare roads for the students. She wished them all the best for their exams and a very successful future. There were speeches by the students and their parents, sharing their memorable moments and experiences at DPS. The students of Grade 11 ordained by the Principal, Dr Pushpy Dutt, were handed over the School flag symbolising the transfer of responsibilities from the outgoing students. The teachers present held out candles for the students as the students passed through the corridor of blessings created for them by the teachers. The function was a grand success and left everyone emotional.
